Veggie Tales color pass

Hey guys. Here is my first pass at color for the Veggie Tales test. I'm running short on time, so this may or may not be final. It all depends on what I have lined up in the next week or so. With some luck, I'll have a bit more time to tweak. Hope ya like it.- Miah

Very cool to see this at the finished level. Nice touch of orange reflective light on the Veggies.

Miah the man !! Very, very nice sir.Excellent color choices. Nice contrast. Kid friendly. visually clear. Exciting layout. ( Just a suggestion if you want it. The peice is definitely great and effective the way it is. I personally would just slightly push the action line curvature of their bodies to show more resistance. This would give the effect of the conveyer pulling them towards the fire as their upper bodies ( ? ) resist.Again not really needed, but might be nice.)

I like these guys. Have you heard the new christmas song... "Jingle, jingle, jingle, ka-ching!" Very funny and sad at the same time. My only suggestion for this piece might be to have a more dynamic composition. Maybe from a top 1/4 view or close-up or something to engage the viewer. I like the stylized fire and the expressions on the faces. Great stuff!

Hey guys, thanks for all the kind words and good feedback. I sent the completed test off today, so hopefully I'll hear something back soon.

Kev.- great idea tilting the characters back a bit to get that conveyor belt to really feel like it's moving

Shawn- yeah I think a more dynamic perspective would make the shot more engaging, I'll have to keep that in mind for future projects.

Thanks again guys
