Hey Everybody. Thanks for stopping by and for all the kind words regarding my last post. If this books anything like the last, I'm sure it'll be quite the adventure. :) So here's something new that my good buddy Steve Lambe and I are starting up on a bi-weekly/monthly basis (schedule permitting of course). Basically we're both taking a stab at the same character(s), working up some designs, and seeing what we come up with. This rounds assignment was based off of some really awesome re-designs Steve recently did of Willy Wonka. He mentioned he was going to work up some Oompas, so Willy wouldn't feel so lonely, and suggested I give it a try too. And these guys are what I came up with. I'm not sure what Steve's worked up so far, but I know they're gonna be fantastic as always. Hope you guys like 'em.

Awesome! My favorite is the sketch of the guy on candy cane stilts. I think because he's the least cute one. That creepy expression cracks me up! Can't wait to see what Steve comes up with.
Man, that texture adds such a nice feeling to the design Miah. Looks so much like acrylic paint on canvas. Great work as always!

My favorite is still the Oompah with the W-shaped candlestick head. He's got waxy craziness written all over him.

These are GREAT Miah! I agree with Steve about the W shaped candle crown, that little guy is definetly my favorite. I also love the disgruntled 5 o'clock shadow oompa, he looks like he might pull out an uzi while sorting lollypops.
