A Smidge of Color

Hey Guys,

So here's how the kid roughs from below turned out. I tried a few new color things this go around and figured I'd post 'em up here to see what ya thought. Hope you like how they came out and, as always, thanks for taking the time to stop by. Be blessed!

I;m really digging all of the muted colors.. I like how the 3rd frame from the top pops out the character in the mid/back ground.

Heya guys!

Jesse- Thanks for coming by and for the kind words! Glad you like the muted stuff that's in there. I was hoping to get some more contrast in the shots that way, you know... keeping the areas of highest contrast on the characters to hopefully help draw the eye to them a bit more. Glad you liked how 3 came out... that one was alot of fun to puzzle piece together.

JP- Thanks for taking a look and for the kind feedback. Coming from someone like yourself, it means a lot. Glad to hear I'm on the right track man.

Josh- Thanks dude. I don't know that my work is consistent enough to deserve the "as usual", but I definitely appreciate it man. You just keep on rockin' on with yo bad sef man, you bg layout master you!

J- Thanks so much. Coming from someone of your artistic awesomeness, I consider that the highest of compliments. Thanks for taking the time to come by.

Be blessed!

Fantastic! And i love the subtle painterly texture. Is that because it IS paint? Or is this some sort of digital sorcery! Again great piece!

Heya guys!

RAWLS- You sir are too kind. Thanks for the encouraging words concerning the color choices man...good to know I'm on the right track :)

Jeff- Thanks man. It's really easy to slip into purely monochromatic stuff when I'm doing work like this... well for the bg stuff anyway...glad that things read well.

Damon- Thanks man... glad you liked it.

Owen- Thanks dude. I don't know about the consistency thing, but I'm workin' on it. Thanks for the encouraging words man... they mean alot.

Drake- Thanks for the positive feedback man... coming from you it really means alot.

Xav- Thanks man. Glad it's up to snuff.

Tommaso- Thanks so much man. Appreciate you stopping by and the kind words of encouragement.

Douglas- Thanks man and I'm glad that you liked the texture. I'm sorry to say that it's ISN't actual paints though, just PS. One day I'd like to try my hand at the real deal though...

Be blessed guys and thanks for coming by!
